On the Requirements for the Terms of Legal Acts and Their Definitions

Abstract

    The management of the terms of legal acts has already acquired a tradition in Lithuania, but the requirements for these terms and their definitions may be the subject of a debate. Since the drafting of legal acts is regulated by the legal acts themselves, it is worth clarifying the terminological requirements that are imposed on them. That is the focus of this article. Better regulation of the requirements for terms and definitions in legal acts can contribute to improving the quality of legislation.
