    The research journal Acta Linguistica Lithuanica has been published since 1957 (until 1999 the title was Lietuvių kalbotyros klausimai). It mostly publishes articles on Lithuanian and Baltic linguistics, comparative and general linguistics problems, as well as the most recent linguistic trends and methods.
    Acta Linguistica Lithuanica is published biannually.
    Editor-in-chief: Prof. dr. Grasilda Blažienė, a true member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
    The journal is an Open Access publication, which ensures the dissemination of research worldwide and provides the readers with the license to use the published articles or their parts for non-commercial purposes in any medium, provided the author and the original source are credited. The authors are not charged any submission or publication fees.

  • Standard Language / Bendrinė kalba

    The journal Standard Language was founded in 1961 (as Kalbos kultūraLanguage Culture); the online journal version is available since 2014 (as Bendrinė kalbaStandard Language). Until the end of the year 2018 the journal had a national status and was mostly available in Lithuanian and the main area the journal covered was a development of a language theory in Standard Lithuanian, also, on those bases, attention was given to investigate language system and practice, and language norms development, language policy as well as language provision. Journal archive is available under http://www.bendrinekalba.lt/.
    Since 2019, Standard Language is a scientific international online peer-reviewed journal that focuses on language variation, also political, theoretical, practical and other aspects of language(s) and language use as well as on adaptation and standardization of language(s) (and dialects) and the like. Interdisciplinary articles are also welcome that cover and connect the study of language(s) to relevant areas of communication, IT, translation issues, educology, philosophy, musicology, history, etc. Journal focus and interdisciplinary aspect increase international collaboration between different languages and scientists tracking various actual language and research aspects, sharing innovative ideas, actual issues, and experience.
    Editor in chief of the journal is assoc. prof. dr. Rasuolė Vladarskienė.

    Terminologija (en Terminology) is an international peer reviewed research journal of Lithuanian and general linguistic terminology. It has been published since 1994. Terminologija deals with the theory and practice of terminology, tries to cover various fields of Lithuanian terminology, to introduce the terminological experience of other countries, the newest foreign terminology ideas.
    Terminologija is published annually.
