Construction with “atžvilgiu” from the Perspective of Valency

Abstract

    The object of this article is the construction with postpositional atžvilgiu. The aim is to find out the relation between the said construction and valency drawing on the data from The Corpus of Contemporary Lithuanian Language. The study revealed that the construction with postpositional atžvilgiu is used in a sentence both as a valent actant of the lexeme and as a non-valent (free) element.
