Journal Publishing Policy

The Institute of the Lithuanian Language (ILL) strives to ensure the accessibility of its publications to a wider readership and assists the academic community to publish their scholarly research.

We are proud to support Open Access and to cover a major part of journal publishing costs. All ILL journals are published with no article processing charge (APC).

We understand the importance of key principles of scholarly communication, the review process is made as smooth as possible. In such a way ILL makes all the possible efforts to publish articles within as short time period as possible after the acceptance of the submission. The ILL publishing team do their best to upload journal archives to the Open Journal System to make the content accessible for readers and researchers.

Open Access policy

From 2019 all journals of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language became Open Access journals and are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/). The License permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.
